The Warehouse / Forklift Operator is responsible for efficiently handling goods within the warehouse environment, ensuring safe and accurate movement, storage, and inventory management. This role requires operation of forklifts and other warehouse equipment to support daily logistics and shipping activities.
Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, and stack materials
- Receive, inspect, and organize inventory accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and safety standards within the warehouse
- Coordinate with team members to fulfill shipping and receiving tasks
- Report and resolve any equipment or inventory discrepancies
- Follow all company policies and OSHA regulations regarding warehouse operations
- Assist with periodic inventory counts and audits
- Prepare shipments and ensure correct labeling and documentation
