Assists servers in providing efficient service by keeping the room neat and clean. Creates memorable dining experiences through personalized and genuine interactions.

Essential Duties:

Assures that all material used by the server is clean and ready for daily operation.
Prepares dining room for guests by setting tables and stocking all necessary supplies before the beginning of service.
Fills and refills water glasses and removes any place settings not in use.
Clears dishes located in front of the guest upon completion of the meal course.
Clears and resets tables when guests leave, including but not limited to changing the tablecloth, brushing chairs, placing chairs at the table, replacing silverware and glassware, and replacing napkins.
Assists the server when needed or requested.
Practices proper tray service for all food and beverage service
Keeps work stations well-stocked with items and ingredients.
Maintains a clean and sanitary bussing station.
Clean workstations, take out trash, and vacuum the dining room.
Incorporates safe work practices in job performance.
Regular and reliable attendance.

Minimum Requirements

Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must be at least 18 years of age

Preferred Requirements:

Previous experience in a restaurant.

Certificates/Licenses:

ServSafe Certified (Food Handler & Alcohol) or TIPS equivalent.
Ability to read and speak English may be required in order to perform the duties of the job (e.g., the associates may be required to communicate with English-speaking customers or co-workers, the manuals for the equipment the associates may use are in English).
Meets state age requirements for handling alcoholic beverages
