Location: San Leandro, CA (Onsite)
Job Type: Seasonal / Temporary
Pay: $55.75 per hour
Schedule: 40 hours/week | Mon–Sun, 10:00 AM–6:30 PM (flexibility required)
Start: ASAP
Position Overview
We’re hiring a Seasonal Immunizing Registered Nurse (RN) to support a vaccination initiative in a community healthcare retail setting. In this role, you’ll administer multiple vaccines (Flu, COVID-19, MMR, etc.) while delivering an excellent patient experience in a fast-paced, patient-facing environment. PPE is provided.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer vaccines (Flu, COVID-19, MMR, and others) following clinical protocols
- Provide patient education and answer questions regarding immunizations
- Accurately document vaccinations and follow all safety/quality standards
- Collaborate with onsite staff and maintain a caring, professional approach
- Adapt quickly to changes in workflow and patient volume
Required Qualifications
- Active, unrestricted RN license in California
- BLS (Basic Life Support) certification
- 1+ year of nursing experience, including immunizations and direct patient care
- Strong communication/interpersonal skills
- Must not be on the DEA Excluded Parties List
