Position Summary
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to set up and operate CNC lathes while producing precision components that meet quality and production standards. This role is ideal for a machinist who can work independently, maintain tight tolerances, and thrive in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes.
- Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
- Perform tool changes, offsets, and quality inspections.
- Use precision measuring instruments (micrometers, calipers, height gauges, etc.).
- Maintain tight tolerances and optimize tooling performance.
- Troubleshoot machining issues and perform basic machine maintenance.
- Follow all safety and quality procedures.
Qualifications
- 3+ years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience.
- Proficient with G-code and blueprint reading.
- Strong inspection and measurement skills.
- Aerospace machining experience is a plus.
- Experience machining stainless steel, titanium, and Inconel preferred.
Schedule
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM – 2:30 PM
- 2nd Shift: 2:15 PM – 10:45 PM

- $25–$40/hour DOE
- 10% shift differential for 2nd shift
