This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney with 3-5 years of commercial litigation experience to join a highly regarded Business & Tort Litigation practice. The team represents clients in complex business disputes and commercial litigation matters, offering associates substantial client interaction, meaningful responsibility, and hands-on litigation experience in a collaborative environment.

Responsibilities

Represent clients in complex commercial and business litigation matters.
Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, and other litigation filings.
Conduct legal research and prepare strategic case analyses.
Manage all phases of discovery, including document review, written discovery, and depositions.
Participate in hearings, mediations, arbitrations, and trial preparation.
Collaborate with clients and litigation teams to develop case strategy.
Maintain direct client communication and assist in managing sophisticated litigation matters.

Qualifications

J.D. from an ABA-accredited law school.
Active membership in the California Bar.
3-5 years of commercial litigation experience.
Strong legal research, analytical, drafting, and written advocacy skills.
Deposition, hearing, and trial experience is preferred.
Excellent academic credentials and the ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-oriented environment.

Compensation & Benefits

Salary: $260,000-$455,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
