Make a difference in the lives of students by bringing your physical therapy expertise into dynamic school environments throughout LA County. This full-time contract position is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated professional eager to support a diverse student population from elementary through high school, offering services exclusively in person for the full academic year.

As a valued physical therapist, you’ll play a key role in helping students reach their highest potential by developing, implementing, and monitoring individualized treatment plans. In addition to working in school settings, there may be opportunities to assist with home health cases, expanding your impact across the region.

Key Qualifications:

  • Active California Physical Therapy license required
  • Previous experience in school-based or pediatric physical therapy preferred
  • Strong communication skills with students, school teams, and families
  • Ability to travel throughout LA County as needed
  • Reliable, collaborative, and skilled in adapting to new environments quickly

What You’ll Do:

  • Conduct assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for students
  • Deliver therapeutic interventions tailored to student needs
  • Maintain detailed documentation of progress and services provided
  • Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary teams, including educators and families
  • Adapt approaches to meet the needs of students in both individual and group settings
  • Provide input for IEP meetings and staff training as needed
  • Assist home health clients on an as-needed basis

You’ll work a 37.5 hour week for the full school year, gaining valuable experience across educational environments and making tangible improvements in students’ daily lives.
