Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney | California Licensed | Remote, CA

A defense firm with offices in Ladera Ranch, San Diego and Sacramento is looking for a Workers' Compensation Defense Attorney to join their fully remote team. You can live anywhere in California and build a career without sacrificing the life you have built outside of work.

What you will be doing:
- Managing a caseload of 60 to 75 workers' compensation defense files from inception through resolution
- Taking depositions and appearing before California WCAB venues as needed
- Developing legal strategies to resolve claims efficiently
- Negotiating and settling cases and lien matters
- Drafting pleadings, motions, reports and correspondence
- Maintaining client relationships and responding to inquiries within 24 hours
What you need to bring:
- Active California law license in good standing
- Minimum one year of California workers' compensation defense experience
- Strong litigation, negotiation and deposition skills
- Ability to independently manage a caseload
- Must be based anywhere in California
