Salary: USD $73,000 – $103,000 per annum ( CNY 500,000 – 700,000) + benefits

Role Overview

As an After-Sales Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the optimal performance of AGV and automated logistics systemsacross client sites. You will provide hands-on troubleshooting, maintenance, system support, and customer training, playing a key role in delivering a high-quality after-sales experience.

This is a customer-facing, field-based role requiring strong technical expertise, responsiveness, and the ability to operate in dynamic, international project environments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide rapid response and resolution to customer-reported faults across AGV hardware and software systems
  • Perform diagnosis, troubleshooting, and repair, ensuring minimal downtime and fast system recovery
  • Deliver remote and on-site technical support, including emergency interventions when required
  • Support installation, commissioning, and system testing at customer sites
  • Develop and deliver technical documentation (service reports, operating manuals, training materials) in English
  • Conduct customer training sessions on system operation, maintenance, and best practices
  • Carry out preventative maintenance and system inspections to reduce risk and improve reliability
  • Manage local spare parts inventory, coordinating with global teams
  • Gather and communicate customer feedback, contributing to continuous product improvement
  • Ensure all work is conducted in accordance with local health, safety, and compliance standards

Candidate Requirements

  • Degree or diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Automation, or a related field
  • Experience working with AGV systems, robotics, or warehouse automation technologies
  • Strong technical knowledge of sensors, control systems, and network communication
  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics and CAD drawings
  • Hands-on experience with diagnostic tools (e.g., multimeter)
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills in English (Chinese language skills are highly advantageous)
  • Experience producing technical reports, documentation, and training materials
  • Strong problem-solving ability with a customer-focused mindset
  • Ability to work independently and within multinational teams
  • Flexibility to travel internationally when required

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience within intralogistics, warehousing, or automation environments
  • Additional language skills such as Spanish or German
  • Relevant technical certifications (electrical, automation systems, or similar)
