A pharmacist opportunity is available in the Galt/Lodi, CA area with a contract duration of 13 weeks, starting ASAP. This role involves working within a dynamic pharmacy setting utilizing advanced technology systems and providing high-quality pharmaceutical care.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately dispense prescription medications and counsel patients on proper medication use
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes
- Maintain compliance with pharmacy laws, regulations, and safety standards
- Utilize Cerner and Omnicell systems for medication dispensing and record keeping, with an upcoming transition to EPIC
- Ensure accurate inventory management and medication storage
Qualifications:
- Licensed Pharmacist in the state
- Experience with Cerner and Omnicell highly preferred; familiarity or willingness to learn EPIC a plus
- Strong knowledge of pharmacy laws, medication therapies, and patient counseling protocols
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Ability to adapt quickly to evolving technology and pharmacy practices
