Public Accounting Advisory & Consulting Professionals
Location: Torrance, California
Employment Type: Direct Hire, Full Time
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Compensation: Approximately $75,000–$190,000 annually, depending on specialization and level
Legacy Career Solutions is seeking public accounting and advisory professionals for several direct-hire opportunities with an established full-service accounting firm in Torrance.
Opportunities may include:
- Consulting Staff
- Consulting Senior
- Consulting Manager
- Client Advisory Services Staff
- Client Advisory Services Controller
- Transaction Services Manager
These positions are appropriate for accounting professionals who enjoy solving complex business problems, advising clients, improving financial processes, and working across a variety of engagements and industries.
Responsibilities
Responsibilities will vary by specialty and may include:
- Supporting accounting advisory and consulting engagements
- Preparing and analyzing financial statements and management reports
- Assisting clients with accounting processes, controls, and reporting
- Supporting transaction due diligence and related financial analysis
- Identifying financial, operational, or reporting risks
- Developing recommendations to improve accounting and business processes
- Managing client deliverables, engagement timelines, and budgets
- Communicating findings to clients and senior firm leadership
- Supervising and mentoring junior professionals
- Supporting long-term client relationships
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, or a related discipline
- Public accounting, advisory, consulting, transaction services, or outsourced accounting experience
- Strong understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
- Advanced analytical and problem-solving ability
- Strong Excel and financial-analysis skills
- Excellent client-facing communication skills
- Prior project or engagement-management experience for manager-level roles
- CPA license strongly preferred for higher-level accounting and advisory positions
- Ability to work onsite in Torrance
- Ability to travel occasionally as required
Compensation will depend upon experience, specialization, credentials, and position level.
